Recently, Xiangyang Tenglong Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tenglong Automobile"), a subsidiary of CRRC Transportation, successfully won the bid for the procurement project of pure electric urban buses by Xiangyang Public Transport Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xiangyang Bus Group").

The pure electric urban buses awarded in this bid adopt CRRC’s most advanced new energy vehicle chassis technology. The vehicle features a novel and aesthetically pleasing body design with a European-style square theme and small rounded corners, presenting a strong sense of modernity. Equipped with Tenglong Automobile’s latest energy-saving, safety, and intelligent technologies, it is a new generation of cost-effective urban buses designed to meet diverse market configuration needs. It will become a beautiful highlight of the city, providing worry-free travel for passengers and bringing vitality to urban life.

Stylish Appearance with Large Passenger Capacity

The overall vehicle design is simple and elegant, with a well-organized interior layout. It features embedded sliding windows and a transparent rear window for excellent lighting. The lower edge of the driver's field of vision is expanded downward to facilitate observation outside the vehicle. The seat design and supporting structure are simple and attractive. The maximum number of seats reaches 46, with a maximum rated passenger capacity of 90 people, both exceeding similar products in the industry.

Stronger Energy Reduction through Lightweight Design
Through CAE analysis, the structure has been optimized. The main load-bearing structure uses high-strength steel, ensuring frame strength while achieving lightweight design. Compared with traditional products, the vehicle body weight is reduced by 200 kg, lowering energy consumption per unit load mass (Ekg), meeting national technical requirements under new subsidy policies and reaching a leading level in China.

Improved Full Load-Bearing Performance

The vehicle adopts second-generation full load-bearing collision safety technology. By applying high-strength steel QStE700TM, the structural strength of the whole vehicle is doubled compared with traditional Q235 steel, ensuring that the vehicle frame remains effective for more than 8 years.

More Advanced Energy Storage Management

The vehicle is equipped with CATL energy storage management systems using automotive-grade components, providing online battery protection, high-voltage circuit safety, charging and driving safety, accurate battery status estimation, rational battery usage, and extended battery service life.

Strong Adaptability to High-Temperature Environments

Targeted research and application of technologies for high heat, extreme cold, and high altitude environments enable the vehicle to operate with long service life within temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C.
All-Weather Safety Monitoring
Multi-dimensional fire detection technology enables rapid and accurate identification of battery leakage, insulation failure, thermal runaway, short circuits, and overheating, effectively suppressing fire hazards. Big-data-based safety warning technology identifies risks in advance, preventing accidents at an early stage, improving after-sales service efficiency, and achieving 24-hour comprehensive monitoring of battery status.

"Cloud Smart Connectivity" — Safe and Environmentally Friendly

The "Cloud Smart Connectivity" vehicle operation intelligent management system uses vehicle and station terminal data collection, high-speed secure data communication, and data analysis applications to achieve drive system and vehicle status monitoring, maintenance management, driver operation management, and route optimization. It comprehensively improves energy conversion efficiency from product to operation and systematically enhances energy-saving and environmental protection performance.
Seamless Internet of Vehicles Information Transmission
The system integrates Internet of Vehicles technology, combining internet technology, wireless communication, sensor technology, and big data analysis to enable real-time interaction between people and vehicles, facilitating vehicle management.
