Hubei Provincial Party Standing Committee Member and Xiangyang Municipal Party Secretary Li Lecheng Visits Jiuzhou Automobile

To help enterprises solve difficulties and investigate the operation of the industrial economy, Li Lecheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Xiangyang Municipal Party Committee, recently led a delegation to visit Jiuzhou Automobile Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Jiuzhou Automobile"), a subsidiary of CRRC Transportation. He Dejun, General Manager of CRRC Transportation, and Wang Wenjun, Chairman of Jiuzhou Automobile, participated in the research activity.

General Manager He Dejun introduced that since Qihang Automobile, a subsidiary of CRRC Transportation, reorganized Jiuzhou Automobile, it has introduced core components for new energy vehicles, motor and electronic control systems, cloud-based intelligent vehicle connectivity systems, 24-hour vehicle-end safety monitoring systems, autonomous driving technology, 5–18 meter pure electric buses, mobile commercial vehicles, mobile service vehicles, engineering emergency vehicles, ambulances, sanitation vehicles, and other product series and related technologies. The company has secured orders including 126 city buses, 300 engineering emergency vehicles, and 900 mobile commercial vehicles, with potential orders totaling approximately 1,000 units. He also expressed gratitude to the governments of Hubei Province, Xiangyang City, and Dongjin New District for their care and support for Jiuzhou Automobile’s development in Hubei. He pointed out that Jiuzhou Automobile currently has the capacity to supply in batches products such as bus rapid transit vehicles, intelligent bus dispatching systems, sanitation vehicles, medical ambulances, engineering emergency vehicles, and mobile commercial vehicles, and will make every effort to contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of the local public transportation industry.
Secretary Li Lecheng listened carefully to the explanations and introductions and affirmed the achievements made by Jiuzhou Automobile after its reorganization. He expressed hope that Jiuzhou Automobile will actively strengthen product research, development, and promotion, improve product quality, and further expand market space. Dongjin New District and relevant municipal departments should act as responsive and supportive service providers, optimize services, strengthen guarantees, help enterprises stabilize expectations, build confidence, and accelerate development, and promote Jiuzhou Automobile to become a leading enterprise in large and medium-sized buses in Xiangyang and even Hubei Province. He also emphasized the need to carefully study the planning, layout, construction, and operation of new types of public transit and bus rapid transit systems in new urban areas, strive to improve the quality of urban public transportation, consolidate the industrial economic foundation, accumulate momentum for transformation and development, and make every effort to write a new chapter of high-quality development.
